The gentle and beautiful Hawaiian sea turtle, also known as, "Honu" in Hawaiian, they are considered to be the Gods of the Sea. The population of the Honu's are very low, but they live, eat, and sleep at one of our snorkel spots in the west side of Oahu. Makaha beach holds the largest number of Hawaiian sea turtles on the west side.
