Here is an animal you'll see everywhere in the reefs of Hawaii.. a sea urchin! There are many different kinds of sea urchins in Hawaii, but this particular type of urchin is called wana (pronounced "vana"). You'll often see them while snorkeling in deeper waters. It has loooong spines and is much larger than the kind you see in shallow areas. If you see one, make sure you don't touch/step on it because they are venomous! Ouch!!

Wana!
