Baby Whale!!

Here's a rare shot! It's a baby whale learning how to jump! Aided by her mother, this little one was jumping in and out of the water repeatedly.

No one is exactly sure why whales breech the water, but some say that its a form of play, while some say its a form of important exercise for the babies to develop strong muscles.

Whales are found in Hawai'i during the winter months!
